What is PIPR?
The Pig Industry Professional Register (PIPR) has been established to recognise professionalism in the pig industry and encourage lifelong learning by its members.
Who can join the scheme?
The all encompassing nature of PIPR means that any member of the industry, be it a producer or member of allied trade can be part of the same professional scheme and record their developments in a simple and recognisable format.
What is involved?
As a member you are required to collect 60 or more CPD points in each three-year period to qualify for membership renewal. A wide range of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events and courses are approved for PIPR members. Events and courses are publicised in t he events section of this website.
